Taoyuan City Tudigong Cultural Museum (桃園市土地公文化館) Permanent Exhibition - 202 When Bogong Meets Tudigong
Taoyuan City is a city of diverse ethnic integration. The permanent exhibition in Room 202, themed "When Bogong (Hakka: bag gungˋ) Meets Tudigong (Hokkien: thóo-tī-kong)," serves as an introduction for visitors before they head to the third-floor exhibition hall to learn more about Tudigong culture.
The exhibition showcases multicultural characteristics and features many interactive devices. Visitors can use flip cards to understand the differences in beliefs, customs, and titles of Tudigong between Hokkien and Hakka cultures; play Huarong Road sliding puzzles to read the Tudigong Encyclopedia; scan to experience AR altar augmented reality; and enjoy eye-catching 360-degree projections of unique Tudigong statues. On-site, visitors can also interact and take selfies with the giant and cute Lucky Tiger God (Hu Ye). These clever arrangements add fun to the exhibition, allowing visitors to gain a deeper understanding of Tudigong culture in the most relaxed way.
