Pingtung Performing Arts Center (屏東演藝廳) houses the third-largest pipe organ in Taiwan, featuring a unique horizontal pipe design and "Formosa" reed pipes that highlight local character. This guided tour features the key figure behind its creation, Mr. Hsieh Chin-hsiang (former manager of KHS Music Center's Central-South branch), who will introduce how the organ was built from scratch, its functions, features, internal structure, acoustic principles, and maintenance. Additionally, Ms. Wang An-chi will provide a beautiful demonstration and lecture, showcasing the organ's unique, multi-layered tones and offering a glimpse into its many facets!
