The Pingtung Performing Arts Hall houses Taiwan's third-largest organ, featuring a unique horizontal pipe design combined with the local characteristics of the Formosa reed pipes. This 'Disappearing Chamber' guided tour will invite the mastermind behind it, Mr. Hsieh Chin-hsiang (謝金相), former Central and Southern District Sales Manager of KHS Music Center, to introduce how the organ at the Pingtung Performing Arts Hall was built from scratch, along with its functions, features, internal structure, sound production principles, and organ maintenance and cleaning. Additionally, teacher Wang An-chi (王安琪) will give a beautiful organ demonstration performance and guided listening, showcasing the organ's unique, multi-layered tonal colors, offering a glimpse into the many facets of the organ!
