"The Dried Lake is Overgrown with Grass" (乾涸的湖長滿草) Tunghai University (東海大學) Department of Fine Arts Class 110 Continuing Education Bachelor's Program Graduation Exhibition
Lake Tunghai has run dry, and the lakebed is overgrown with weeds. Such a sight is somewhat desolate, yet full of vitality.
We, this group of creators, come from different backgrounds. Some have been on the path of fine arts all along, while others took a long detour before returning to creation. We may not necessarily fit into the framework of traditional fine arts, but just like the weeds at the bottom of the lake, we still grow tenaciously in a place that did not originally belong to us, trying to change this landscape.
Through painting, sculpture, installation, video, and other media, this exhibition presents our thoughts, life experiences, and artistic experiments. The lake has no water, but we have creation, passion, and the possibility of infinite growth.
