"They Planted a Mouth with Sharp Teeth in My Body": Huang Li-jung (黃麗蓉) Solo Creative Exhibition (他們在我的身體裡種了一張尖牙利嘴》黃麗蓉創作個展)

This exhibition starts from the perspective of sexual violence survivors, focusing on the society's single imagination of the "perfect victim," and presenting the multi-layered, contradictory, and often ignored states in the experience of victimization, including self-blame, shame, anger, numbness, avoidance, and resistance, which constitute the complexity of the survivor's experience.
The works also point to the boundary erosion that exists in daily life—how seemingly neutral language and interaction affect body boundaries and power relations in intimate relationships and creative fields.
This exhibition hopes to serve as an open venue to trigger discussion and reflection on sexual violence experiences, body boundaries, and power structures, and to show the diverse forms of victim experiences and vulnerable states, inviting more understanding and dialogue.
