Three Elders Ink Affinity Calligraphy Exhibition - Chen Yao-tung (陳耀東), Kang Wen-feng (康文鳳), Wu Yi-hsun (吳義馴)

Date: 2026-03-14 — 2026-04-12 Organizer: (中華民國)陳耀東、康文鳳、吳義馴
This exhibition brings together three calligraphers who have deeply cultivated the art of calligraphy for many years—the Senior Elder Mr. Chen Yao-tung (陳耀東), the Ageless Ms. Kang Wen-feng (康文鳳), and the Second Elder Mr. Wu Yi-hsun (吳義馴). They call themselves the "Three Elders," using calligraphy to meet friends and ink to convey emotions, jointly presenting a calligraphic performance where brush and ink intertwine and styles reflect each other.

Mr. Chen Yao-tung specializes in running script and cursive script, with a vigorous and flowing brushstroke and a vibrant spirit, hiding deep calligraphic cultivation and emotional flow in his works; Ms. Kang Wen-feng specializes in running script, with a graceful, fluid, and naturally unfolding style that shows both restrained elegance and a fresh rhythm of the times; Mr. Wu Yi-hsun excels in clerical script, with steady and powerful brushwork and a rigorous structure, demonstrating an elegant demeanor of spirit within ancient simplicity.

The "Three Elders" not only represent seniority and experience but also embody the three calligraphers' persistence and sincerity towards the art of calligraphy. They engage in dialogue through different calligraphic styles, from the calm and heavy clerical script and the smooth and natural running script to the bold and unrestrained cursive script, together composing a visual feast of calligraphic fusion. Viewers will feel the pulse of life in the characters and the inner landscape of the writers amidst the shadows of ink.
