+wò Cultural Practice (加沃文行) has invited photography artists Yang Che-Yi (楊哲一) and TAI Chia-Ying (戴嘉瑩) for a residency. Let your haircut routine become part of the artwork:
◉ Yang Che-Yi (楊哲一) | A photographer who writes about life with images. Works exhibited in Lithuania, Japan, Germany, and China, and collected by Kiyosato Museum of Photographic Arts (Japan), Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts, and National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts. This time, special imaging equipment and video creation will be used to capture the process of the performance.
◉ TAI Chia-Ying (戴嘉瑩) | A photography artist born in Hsinchu. Master of Photography from the University for the Creative Arts (UCA), UK. Works exhibited at Medway Photo Festival (UK) and Free Range at Old Truman Brewery (London). This creation will combine images with ready-made objects to respond to the on-site experience and develop her visual narrative.
The two artists will be in residency at +wò from 3/3 (Tue) to 3/7 (Sat). We sincerely invite you, as a neighbor, to walk into the performance site and complete this special exhibition project—"Westside Haircraft (城西髮藝)" with us.
