Wei Man-chun (魏滿均) Trumpet Solo Recital - French Style

From the romantic poetry of the Seine to the delicate emotions of Chanson melodies, French music has deeply moved the world with its unique elegance and free spirit. This concert will lead the audience through the musical corridor of the 19th and 20th centuries, into the magnificent world created by French masters. Through the unique brilliance and depth of the trumpet's sound, we will present classic works by several French composers. From delicate melodies to ever-changing acoustic colors, the program will present the dramatic tension of Bizet's operas, the misty Impressionism of Fauré, and the works of modern composers like Tomasi and Escaich, who explore the limits of instrumental performance to create new sonic textures.
