【Weiwuying (武營) Come Dance】 All for Bach 24 (瘋迷24巴赫) Special Session 《Dancing in the midnight》
Let's dance together to Bach's music!
Baroque dance was a language of both art and culture in 18th-century European courts, and Bach created many classic movements with its rhythm and style. This event uses the body as a medium to lead everyone into the rhythm and energy of Baroque music, experiencing the charm of dance music firsthand, and discovering that anyone can become an elegant and free Baroque dancer.
Session Introduction
3/14 (Sat) 23:00 《Bach's Dancing Shoes: Minuet》 (巴赫的舞鞋:小步舞曲)
The first dance experience will lead everyone into the world of the Menuet (小步舞曲). This is the most symbolic dance of the French court, regarded as the representative of nobility and elegance, and is one of the longest-lasting and most beloved dance forms in history.
Teachers will demonstrate the basic steps and body lines of the Menuet in a friendly and easy-to-learn way, accompanied by the familiar 〈Minuet〉 (小步舞曲) (BWV 114), guiding the public to master elegant and calm movements in a relaxed rhythm.
*After the dancing session, the teacher will present a complete dance demonstration, showing the purest style of the Minuet.
