[Weiwuying Let's Dance] Mad for Bach 24 Special Session "Dancing in the Midnight" "Wind of the Court: Gigue (宮廷的疾風:吉格舞曲)"
[Let's Dance at Weiwuying (武營來跳舞)] Mad for Bach 24 Special (瘋迷24巴赫特別場) "Dancing in the midnight"
Let's dance together to the music of Bach!
Baroque dance was a language of both art and culture in 18th-century European courts, and Bach created many classic movements with its rhythm and style. This event uses the body as a medium to lead everyone into the rhythm and energy of Baroque music, experiencing the charm of dance music firsthand, and discovering that anyone can become an elegant and comfortable Baroque dancer.
Session Introduction
3/15(Sun) 02:00 "Gale of the Court: Gigue (宮廷的疾風:吉格舞曲)"
The second dance experience will present a completely different vitality. Gigue is known for its light, jumping, and life-filled rhythm, and is one of the most "bouncy" movements in Baroque suites.
This session will use the Gigue from Bach's "Orchestral Suite No. 3 (第三號管弦組曲)", allowing the public to directly feel the jumping of notes through their bodies. The instructor will guide everyone from the sense of rhythm and foot movements to the use of body center of gravity, step by step understanding the lightness and unbridled nature of this dance.
*After the dancing, the instructor will also perform a complete dance piece, presenting an authentic Gigue.
