When We Puppets Are Together (當偶們同在一起)

Set in the Ming Dynasty, the story tells of a battle between good and evil between the Red and Black sword-fighting factions, and incorporates a poignant romance between the male and female leads, showcasing rich traditional melodies and martial arts sentiment. The two major sects of the martial world: the Red Dragon Sect, led by Sun Bin (孫臏) and Master Taiyi (太乙真人), against the Black Dragon Sect, founded by the Thousand-Year-Old White Monkey Taoist (千年白猴道人). Ma Jinying (馬金英), a beauty from the twelve provinces, hung herself behind an ancient temple to preserve her chastity. Lian Yunhe (連雲鶴), the 'Little White Dragon' (小白龍) and handsome hero of the thirteen provinces, stayed overnight at the temple and encountered Ma Jinying's ghost, falling in love at first sight. As dawn approached, while they were reluctant to part, Ma Jinying revealed the secrets of the bloody conflicts in the martial world.
