Workshop: Penghu County Government Cultural Affairs Bureau 澎湖縣政府文化局 Choir Training

The Cultural Affairs Bureau Choir has been established for 29 years. During this period, it won 5th and 4th place among the top 24 in the National Music Competition for two consecutive years. In 2013, it won the Bronze Award in the Mixed Voice category of the National Social Group Choir Competition. It has also performed alongside international groups in the three International Choral Festivals held in Penghu County, receiving praise from foreign choral conductors. It holds a concert on average once a year. To improve the choir's performance experience and standards, it has sought funding in recent years to exchange with foreign groups, visiting countries such as Idaho (USA), Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Quanzhou, Beijing, Xiamen, Fuzhou, and Hangzhou. It spreads the beautiful voices of Penghu people to more corners of the world, and most importantly, lets more people know about Penghu and promotes Penghu's tourism.
