Yu Tian-ci: 75th Calligraphy Exhibition (余天賜《七十五書法展》)
Yu Tian-ci, styled Qi-an, was born in 1952. He has been engaged in calligraphy and painting for over half a century. His father was an early folk Buddhist painter; influenced from a young age, Yu began doodling. In 1978, he decided to leave his father's profession to focus on the teaching and creation of traditional calligraphy. Throughout his journey, he has adhered to the belief that "one should never tire of learning" and "diligence makes up for a lack of natural talent." He has pursued progress with vigor, remaining persistent and steady, and has integrated the strengths of various masters—a creative principle he has held for many years. This is the ninth solo exhibition of his calligraphy career, and he cordially invites cultural pioneers and friends from the calligraphy community to visit and provide guidance.
