Date: 2026-01-01 — 2026-12-31 Organizer: (中華民國)元清觀民藝館
Yuanqing Temple (元清觀) in Changhua City (彰化市) is the only temple in Taiwan named "Guan" (Taoist temple) that enshrines the Jade Emperor. Its affiliated Folk Art Museum houses a rich collection of artifacts. Built in the 28th year of the Qianlong Emperor's reign during the Qing Dynasty, it is the only temple in Taiwan named "Guan" and dedicated to the Jade Emperor. Local devotees in Changhua habitually call it the "Tiangong Altar" (天公壇). It is a national-level historic site. In April 2006, a fire damaged the main hall; the restoration work is now complete, and it has reopened. The affiliated Folk Art Museum of Yuanqing Temple is now open, primarily focusing on the history of Yuanqing Temple and the beauty of traditional architectural art, while providing a place for the inheritance and study of folk arts. The displayed artifacts are dazzling, all for the purpose of promoting cultural tourism.
