In 1999, Chu Pil-seon (秋必善, played by Lee Hye-ri / 李惠利) and her best friend Jang Mi-na (張美娜, played by Park Se-wan / 朴世婉) dream of becoming idols. They want to practice dancing but have no place to go, and are constantly chased by Chi-hyeong (植行, played by Lee Jung-ha / 李政河), the soccer team goalkeeper who has a crush on her. One day, they notice transfer student Kim Se-hyun's (金世賢, played by Jo A-ram / 趙妸㛦) unique cheerleading dance and become interested. They convince a group of eccentric but dance-loving classmates to form a cheerleading squad, tricking the principal into believing it will boost the soccer team's win rate. To practice, these girls cheer for various businesses across Geoje (巨濟). With their energetic support, the soccer team heads into their most important match.
